First first lesson most children are subjected to is, "Obey authority or face punishment." This does several things; introduces fear into the thought process; creates a sense of inferiority, which creates a submissive moron who thinks they need permission for everything; or for some rebellious children, plants the seed which grows into serial killers etc. since freedom is a natural phenomenon while authority, like politics, religion, and rape, are the same thing, control issues, a power play. And nothing is more perverted. This is the ultimate form of child abuse and the source of most of the atrocities of mankind.
