Connecting WAN router to wifi signal from the bsnl modem?

iam using broad band named wi5 in my locality in which they provided me an WAN router for it and also i am using bsnl broadband with an optin of wi-fi. now my question is when is site surveyed in the WAN router i found out that it also absorbing the wifi signal from my bsnl broadband modem , but when i tried to connect it it fails to connect. is there any way to connect to tat wifi signal ?
