I don't understand why Jesus committed suicide on the cross?

He did commit suicide Luke 23:46 Jesus called out with a loud voice, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." When he had said this, he breathed his last. If it wasn't suicide he would have died without commanding his spirit he would have suffered and died without his spirit leaving but in a sense he gave up, it was an honourable suicide, look at euthanasia and compare it to this situation.
