Sweetie you are not gonna get a 'true' boyfriend if you keep on acting this way. You see honey about your best friend it DIDN'T matter if she wasn't beautiful as you or wasn't intelligent of as you, What really matters is the inside, The personality makes up who you are. Everybody has special and unique qualities and Im sure you have many. Now there's no need to rush into any 'proposals' yet because being 21 you're still young. Right now just be single and enjoy life. My suggestion for you is to just keep on being yourself you do NOT need to change for any man in life you are a strong girl, Have faith in God and soon your prince charming will come knocking at your door one day!
