Why are cities saying they will refuse to arrest anybody illegal?

short answer people have thumbed their nose @ Washington's attempted enforcement since the 1960's. Too many sticking hippies went to Washington to make a difference and wound up corrupt as the entity they were fighting against. The cities called sanctuary cities need to have the Billions of dollars pulled from their budgets by the federal government. Money talk & well you you know... It is about state's rights and basically being tools. at least that's my opinion. I have to obey all of the laws and so should everyone else.
