If you move out of the area do you have to move dentists?

I have only recently overcome my fear and anxiety of visiting the dentist and have built up faith and trust in my current dentist. He is great and recently I have moved out of the locality of his practice. I am still registered there at the mo as I am still in the process of all my changes with moving and desperately want to stay with the practice for my confidence with dental visits. Do I have to move dentist as I am now no longer local, or can I continue to stay under this practice if I so wish and am happy to travel the distance for dental treatment?
