What behaviors are involved with sleepwalking?

I used to sleep walk which is why I am asking. I have heard in the state of sleep walking, the person will obey commands. Sort of an obedience program. I have also heard stories of sleep walking murder. Any evidence which proves the obedience theory? Can anyone elaborate the proof if there is? Any justifying sleep walking murder? Along with these, any other proven behaviors? If so, can anyone give me them with as much detail as possible?
