Quantum Mechanics???????

From the positivist idea that it is meaningless to discuss the existence of something which cannot be measured (position and velocity, within certain limits) came the idea that the electron is an unreal, causeless "possibility" which only achieves actuality upon observation. Thus positivism became twisted into subjectivism (some say "solipsism") and the idea that the observer somehow creates reality by the act of observation. In Bohr and Heisenberg's thought experiment they said that you can determine the location of the electrons in an object by bouncing photons off of it. But by doing this you alter the elecrons' velocity. So basically you know the velocity of the electrons only when you dont know their position and vise versa. If you know their position then you dont know their velocity. They still exist with measurement we just know something different about them when we measure them.
