Can spayed cats (female) go out at night for mating?

If she's spayed, then she's not mating.....probably just hunting or something. My cats do this-->go out and not come back for a random amount of time. If the kids in your neighborhood said they saw her, then she's fine. put food at your door and she'll probably come back.
