I am moving to Raghvendra Nagar Colony, Hyderabad, India from Ozie..just wanted to know how is the city like?

basically we are moving in the locality called "Shri Raghvendra Nagar Colony" in Shivrampally n I will be working in Hitec city..is it wise to have a car or I can trust the public transport ? .. Also I would like to know about Raghvendra Nagar, how is the area? is it safe? .... We are coming to India for the first time...would appreciate replys....
